Mission

The Karuna Foundation is a nonprofit community service organization dedicated to promoting the universal human values of love, truth, right action, peace and nonviolence, for the upliftment of the human spirit. We support educational, intergenerational and multicultural programs that build community and kindle compassion.

Spring 2009 Announcement
We are not making grants at this time, and we are unable to consider new proposals. We continue to support local nonprofits through our donor-advised fund at the Fund for Santa Barbara.
